Position yourself as an expert on Facebook
Let’s talk about that icky feeling we feel when we know it’s time we need to put ourselves out there on social media as an expert…
We KNOW that we need that makeover, the cover photo, the offer post, the bio, and the message to attract our clients.
We’ve been told that when we’ve done these things, we will look professional, we will get clients, first impression is everything.
Intellectually, these are true.
Yet somehow we’re not comfortable sitting on the seat of the expert.
It’s not an easy feeling and I feel you.
You risk vulnerability to talk about who you are and what you do.
You risk being judged by hundreds thousands of people.
You ask yourself: Am I pretending to be someone I am not?
And this one: Who am I to be the expert?
But there are thousands of people who need you to be who you are right now, to help them become who they want to be.
And You. Right now. Are Enough.
You are the leader
If you don’t like to call yourself an expert, so don’t. But you MUST be the leader who takes responsibility to help the people you seek to serve.
Because if you don’t, what will happen to them?
What will happen to the one person whom your help can save their life, but they come across your profile and don’t know that there is hope?
Will you take that responsibility to step out of hiding and show up as who you are?
Social media makeover is NOT about bragging or showing off, it’s about finally SHOWING UP.
Show up with your passion.
Show up with how you can help.
Show up with you being who you are.
